The Loom is Dressed....Ready for Scott to Weave

Scott's Second Weaving Project.  It's a baby blanket for his cousin's first child.  First Rows of weaving are the sample section to check the threading, beat...etc.  The shuttle on the right will be replaced with one of Tammy's hand-painted yarns as used in the warp which will contribute and over-all, painterly quality to the subtle plaid effect.

We've had a whole lot of interest in our weaving classes this fall...so we've brought in more looms for students to work on. Students start out on rigid heddle or table looms...your choice...but then we love to turn you on to the "big girl" floor looms as fast as we can. They are a whole lot of fun!
