Weaving Skills: Dyeing to weave
Instructor: Tammy L. DeckYes! This can be your second ever project! Create your own version of this beautiful hand-dyed chenille scarf. During this class you will measure your warp from luxurious rayon chenille, then go on to dye the yarn in your own custom colorway. After the yarn dries, you can go on to weave at your own pace, and the result will be a truly one-of-a-kind creation.
Must have prior 4-shaft weaving experience. If not, consider taking Weaving I now and this class at a later date.
Project materials and loom use are included in our class fee. Already have a portable 4-shaft loom? Bring it to class and we'll credit you $10. Looms available at the studio for purchase as low as $400.
Dates: April 3, 2013 to measure warp
April 10 to dye yarn **
Meets: Wednesdays, 2pm to 4:30pm (ish)
Fee: $160 (materials included)
